Mar 8, 2002: We have added a Publishing Agreement for a Family Siddur to our contracts page.
- Use this new offering to make a custom Siddur for your own family, if the siddur will not be sold nor contain paid advertising. You may modify our transliterations, combine our work with your own material, print your custom siddur under your own imprint, and there's no need for royalty accounting! (A one-time $18 donation to my synagogue is requested instead.) Quantities and distribution is limited to the needs of your own family.

December 10, 2000: Our Publishing Agreement is amended. Royalties are reduced to 25 cents per book, to make using our transliterations even more attractive. The reduced royalty rate is also extended to future book production by existing Publishers operating under the old Agreement.

January 1, 2000: Added two audio files: one on the Shabbat Musaf Praise Section page, and one on the Shabbat Shacharit Sh'ma Section page. More are coming. Many thanks to Kol Tefilah for letting us link to the Jewish audio at their web site.
January 1, 2000: Added a new section under "Daily Blessings", called "Waking Up and Preparing for Morning Prayers", including Modeh Ani, morning handwashing, the blessings for putting on a tallis (prayer shawl), and for donning t'fillin (phylacteries). November 27, 1999: Spelling corrections (in two places on the "Blessings Over Snacks" page) made, from 'pomegranite' to 'pomegranate', thanks to Gretchen of California. Gretchen also teaches that 'granite' (the rock) comes from the same Latin root (granate = grainy) as pomegranate (grainy apple), so I wasn't far off.

February 18, 1998: The Daily Blessings Section goes on-line! This includes the blessings over various foods, the Grace After Meals, the blessings associated with various mitzvot (like affixing a mezzuzah), and blessings of praise and gratitude said throughout the day in response to events. Just in time for Jewish Web Week!
February 15, 1998: We are rolling out a bunch of new stuff in time for Jewish Web Week. Today we add the original version of Yedid Nefesh, thanks again to Yosef Gilboa.
January 25, 1998: An additional bunch of details were corrected re: transliteration of the Hebrew kamatz katan and shva na, thanks again to Yosef Gilboa, this time covering L'cha Dodi.
December 26, 1997: In Kabbalat Shabbat, numerous (26) improvements were made in details of pronunciation throughout Psalms 95 through 29 (related to syllabification and the transliteration of the Hebrew shva na). For example: 'v'yo-sh'vei' and 'ha-go-yim' and 'ko-desh' and 'um-kom', rather than 'v'yosh-vei' and 'ha-goy-im' and 'ko-desh' and 'u-m'kom'. Many thanks to the eagle-eyed Dikduk Doctor, Yosef Gilboa, for his detailed prescription.
November 15, 1997: The Zamir Chorale of Boston recently became our first Publishing Agreement customer to complete their custom siddur, called Siddur Kol Zamir. They added our transliterations to their own translations, plus sheet music of the congregational melodies, to make a Friday Evening Siddur for their annual retreat.
November 11, 1997: In every instance of the Kaddish, 'l'ei-la' has been changed to 'l'ei-la'. And in the next to last benediction of every silent Amidah, 'cha-lu' has been changed to 'cha-lu'. Many thanks to expert grammarian, Yosef Gilboa, for spotting this.
November 11, 1997: Near the very end of the Shabbat Shacharit Shema Section, 'v'niz-ka' has been corrected to 'v'niz-keh'; and in the Shabbat Shacharit Praise Section's excerpt from I Chronicles 29:10-13, 'Va-y'va-rech Da-vid' has been changed to 'Va-y'va-rech Da-vid'.

October 31, 1997: Correction of inconsistent transliterations ('la-A-do-nai' and 'la-Ad-o-nai') in Psalm 96 (in the Friday night service). All instances have been changed to 'La-do-nai'. Many thanks to Ed Dahlgren for spotting this.
